natural systems
mankovska's current project 'natural systems' is inspired by the natural soundscapes. While working on that project, she began to research deeply into topics like noise pollution and communication between animals in their natural habitats.
The graphics scores are the interpretation of the original soundscape recordings taken in forests and parks, in Poland and UK.
The first live performance of the score will take place at the University of East London in April 2018.
